About our Delta 8 Live Terped EV2 Cartridge

Our Delta 8 EV2 Cartridge are made using top shelf Delta 8 Clear Distillate and Live Terpenes. Delta 8 Clear Distillate will contain a high percentage of Delta 8 (90-99%) but may also contain other trace minor cannabinoids. Delta 8 is considered a semi-synthetic cannabinoid, it is naturally occurring within the hemp / cannabis plant but cannot be extracted from the plant, it must be isomerized from CBD or another cannabinoid. What is Delta 8 THC?

Delta 8 THC is a rare cannabinoid within the cannabis / hemp plant. All our our Delta 8 THC is hemp derived and are less than 0.3% Delta 9 THC by weight. Delta 8 and Delta 9 THC have similar names but are different on a chemical structure, a Delta 8 THC molecule has a double bond on the eight carbon chain, which Delta 9 THC has the double bond on the ninth carbon chain. Delta 8 is sometimes nicknamed “weed lite” due to the effect being perceived as weaker than Delta 9 THC and due to the federally legal status on the cannabinoid. Delta 8 THC is still a THC metabolite and will trigger a drug test.

Delta 8 THC was made legal by the 2018 Hemp farm bill aka Agricultural Improvement Act of 2018 allowing a maximum Delta 9 THC content of 0.3% while allowing all natural isomers of CBD including Delta 8 THC, Delta 10 THC, HHC and THCP.
